This 1987
Adam cruising houseboat has an overall length of 60', a breadth of
20' and the depth is 6'. It is a custom design that was built by
Chatelain Enterprises, Inc. This is a beautiful and well cared for
houseboat that is in excellent condition. There are 4 fuel tanks
that hold approximately 5,516 gallons; and 2 water tanks that hold
approximately 2,758 gallons. The houseboat is currently docked at
the Lauderdale Marine Center, 2001 S.W. 20th Street, Ft.
Lauderdale, FL.
The
accommodations on board the houseboat include: one stateroom with
a queen sized bed for (two), a crews' quarters with (two) side by
side single beds, and room for an additional (two) guests on the
fold out couch in the lounge. This houseboat also has a head with
shower, sink, a large mirror with plenty of lighting, and full
bathroom facilities.
The
Galley, which is located aft of the living room, offers all the
modern conveniences and appliances with the comfort's of home.
This houseboat has a Jenn Air D150 stove and oven, GE Microwave,
and a tall side-by-side refrigerator and freezer with a built in
icemaker. There is a full kitchen sink and plenty of counter space
and cabinet storage area.
The
construction of the houseboat has a superstructure steel frame
with a decorative wood overlay and a topside steel plate. The
bottom of the boat has a 3/8" steel plate that allows the
houseboat to be beached for stationary docking in remote areas.
Another excellent feature about the construction of this boat is
the Keel Cooled System, which allows for air conditioning even
while beached.

engine room consists of Twin Detroit Diesels with 325
hours and 318 hours of use, a freshwater cooling system,
and a MSD Mark 05 sewage treatment system. The electrical
aspects for this cruising houseboat are (two) Isuzu/Lima
Diesels, forward is 30KW and the aft is 16KW and a NewMar
115-15-35A Converter. Shore power includes both
250volt/50amp and 250volt/100amp service. |
